Information Literacy and Instruction Librarian
The Paul V. Galvin Library at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois is pleased to announce a great opportunity for an early-career librarian who is interested in work in information literacy, reference and instruction. This position provides service to faculty, students, and staff at IIT’s Main campus, demonstrates a commitment to service excellence to users of a multicultural academic and research environment, both on campus and online. This position is responsible for delivery of a broad range of research and instructional services in support of the university’s curriculum and mission. Reporting to the Head of Research and International Library Services, the Information Literacy and Instruction Librarian will provide and promote high quality and innovative services to a diverse community of IIT users and beyond.
Sunday shifts required during the academic year. Other occasional weekend and evening hours may be required. This position requires a Masters degree in Library and Information Science.
