Yearbooks from the Armour Institute of Technology, one of Illinois Tech’s predecessor universities, are digitized and freely available on the Internet Archive. The collection, spanning four decades from 1898 to 1940, includes The Integral, Senior Class Book, and The Cycle. The bindings and text are fully digitized and include class lists and histories; faculty and administrator lists; memberships in clubs and societies; information about academic programs, social events, sports, and extracurricular activities; photographs and prints; and contemporary advertisements.
Use the link below to explore the yearbooks and learn more about the Armour Institute of Technology, which flourished on Chicago’s South Side for almost fifty years, from 1893 until its merger with Lewis Institute in 1940.
This digitization project was supported in part by an award from the Illinois State Historical Records Advisory Board, through funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, National Archives and Records Administration.
